Coming to NMU
Howard Lyman
"The Mad Cowboy"

FREE and open to everyone!

The Northern Michigan University
Sustainable Agriculture Club
and Northern Vegans present Howard Lyman on
Thursday, April 24 at 7 p.m.
in the Great Lakes Room at the NMU University Center.
Mr. Lyman wrote “Mad Cowboy”, “No More Bull”,  and
produced “Mad Cowboy-The Documentary”
to chronicle his journey from a fourth generation cattle
rancher to vegan advocate.

He appeared on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” to inform the
public about Mad Cow Disease and unsafe industrial
farming practices.  Mr. Lyman also created the foundation
Voice for a Viable Future to support sustainable organic
agriculture practices and to expose the hazards of current
food production methods.

Using his life experiences, Mr. Lyman clearly connects
environmental stewardship, animals, food safety and our
health while promoting a sustainable path
for the future.  This free event is important for anyone
concerned about the future of our planet and everyone is welcome to
attend.
