Living Lighter In Your Day-To-Day Life
We will be offering two identical sessions of the same two-part workshop,
one session in June and the other in August.

It seems like the whole world is “going green.”  From fashion to furnishings,
green is in.  Are you looking to go green, lessen your footprint on this earth?  If
so, this class is for you.  Participants will learn practical, economical ways to
lessen their ecological footprint while at the same time improving their
personal health, the health of their families and the health of mother earth.

Becoming Vegan & Loving It
We are offering one session of this workshop.  It consists of four consecutive Thursdays.

diet.  This workshop will answer all those questions floating around in your

Redefining Food & Your Relationship With It
We will be offering two identical sessions of the same two-part workshop,
one session in July and the other in August.

Are you looking for a good, long-term healthy way to eat that is NOT a diet but
keeps you trim and feeling great? If so, this workshop will get you on the right
track and help you navigate the confusing world of terms like organic, free-
range, GMO, etc.  No diet tricks here, just good old fashioned advice on
choosing and using better foods.  Anyone looking to lose some weight, get
healthier, feel more energetic or simply expand their eating horizons should
attend.

Greens:  Up Close and Personal
We will be offering two identical sessions of the same workshop,
one session in July and the other in August.

This workshop will be a combination of education and hands-on food
preparation.  Natasha will demonstrate how to make green smoothies and show
how to prepare and enjoy greens several different ways (especially raw and
fresh).  Participants will harvest their own greens to take home.  Recipes will be
given.

The Buzz on Bees
We will be offering two identical sessions of the same workshop,
one session in July and the other in August.

Bees are some of the most important and fascinating creatures on earth.  They
are directly responsible for the pollination of thousands of food crops around
the world.  Come join us for an inside look at the secret life of bees.  Though
this is not an introduction to beekeeping workshop, it will give participants a
good practical understanding of the social and work lives of honey bees.
Participants will have the opportunity to handle bee keeping equipment, tools,
hives (minus the bees), etc.  All those in attendance will be invited back to the
farm to participate in the honey extraction process if they so choose.

Veggin’ Out:  Introduction to Plant-Based Diets
We will be offering two sessions of the same workshop,
one session in July and the other in August.

Curious about plant-based diets?  Considering becoming a vegetarian or a
vegan?  Just want to eat less meat and dairy?  If so, this class is for you.
Participants will learn about the benefits of eating a plant-based diet, but more
importantly will gain a better understanding of a plant-based lifestyle.

OR

Goodies
Each participant will receive a Vegetarianism in a Nutshell audio CD.
The Fine Print
This class is informational only and is not a step-by-step seminar in how to be veg.  We will focus on
the benefits and reasons to go veg rather than what to eat or how to prepare veg foods.  If you are
seeking this kind of in-depth guidance, then let us suggest our four-part Becoming Vegan class offered
in September.

The Dirt on Industrial Agriculture
We are offering one session of this workshop.

Most people have no idea how their food is produced.  If they did, they would
make different food choices.  This workshop will provide participants with an
eye-opening, in-depth look at industrial crop farming and animal production.  If
you don’t already know about where your food comes from, now is the time to
learn.  Participants will leave with information regarding where to purchase
healthier, humane foods in their local area.  Become an informed eater!
